Last Monday, Albert dragged me to a new Barbeque restaurant by the name DERCS BARBQ. It is located pretty close to Yellow House of Mabini Street. The offerings of the restaurant included pork barbecue, pork liempo, American burger, sisig, chicken inasal but do not forget the beer.
The square room filled with wooden chairs and tables. Nice! It is not large by any means but it would fit about 20ish people.
Things started swiftly. A pork barbeque was served so we didn’t have to eat our starter with a spoon.
The owners (where the name derived from) Don, Emman, Roel, Christine and Sherdan seemed to be the same people that was churning out all the delicious eats. My favorite ended up being the fried vegetables, but the pork liempo was not too far behind.
I honestly enjoyed all the food samplings came out of the kitchen hot and the presentation was nice and clean. Grilling over charcoal really is the best. The food was remarkable and the service was polished and impeccable. We slurped it down and felt like we were in good hands, food-wise.
The owners and staff deserve special mention here. The owners were actually grilling the barbeque for us! They did well in making sure that we were happy and served. I had a great time socializing and eating with everyone.
Overall it was a great food trip!
Here’s a full menu to satisfy your hunger!
Meats are marinated, smoked & charbroiled to perfection. Soups are homemade and their side orders are made fresh daily. No powdered potatoes here. A healthy alternative to fast food meals!
