We all know that DAVAO CITY is one of the most beautiful and livable city in our country today. Aside from this we believe that DAVAO is also the home of the most beautiful and handsome faces in the archipelago, backed with honorable life values and interesting way of living. Because of these, we officially present the DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE‘S TOP 100 FACES 2013…a contest designed to showcase Davao’s finest young men and women who are ambassadors of beauty, goodwill and success.
Qualifications:
- This contest is open to any resident of the entire Davao Region (Davao City, Davao Oriental, Davao Del Norte and Davao Del Sur).
- Both Male and Female candidates are encouraged to join the contest.
- Candidates must be of good moral character.
- Candidates must be between 14-26 years old.
- Candidates must have an official FB account to be linked to their respective entries.
Mechanics:
Beauty, in its essence, comes in all shapes, sizes and color. It does not tilt in a mere stereotype or paradigm. Davao Eagle’s NEW Top 100 Faces Davao Logo for 2013 by Jay Rule represents for beauty is diversified in our humble land of promise. The logo comes with a silhouette of a face sideways as a motive for direction, a moving forward. With this, we aim to showcase new faces, talents and beauty of DAVAO.
- Candidates can join by visiting DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE blog site (www.davaoeagle.com) and click on the article about Davao Eagle Online’s Top 100 Faces Cycle 1, and fill out the electronic form and upload one (1) close up picture and one (1) half body picture. Relative or friends can also nominate a candidate and register in behalf of them.
- Candidates must pass all the qualifications listed above and must be actively participating in any Davao Eagle Online organized events whether it be a live or an online event.
- Nomination of candidates is open every last 2 weeks of the month (I.E. For the month of May, nominations must all be in between April 15 – April 26, and for June candidates, nominations should all be in between May 18- May 31).
- Once all entries are gathered, candidates will then be invited for an official interview and Photo shoot with the DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE TEAM for an exclusive article write- up in Davao eagle online blog site. This is a pre-requisite and a mandate for the candidates to be officially included in the contest. Articles must be uploaded all at the same time during the first week of the month to gather as many likes and votes as possible.
- Those who will fail to attend the photo shoot and interview sessions will still have a chance to reschedule, however, the candidates’ article will be uploaded in later blog issues thus taking the risk of not getting the exposure needed to win the contest.
- During the photo shoot, candidates will be notified by the organizers of the theme and the attires to bring.
- Candidates’ interview details and photos form the Shoot will be uploaded in DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE as an official article and entry in the contest. Pictures will also be uploaded in Facebook. Thus, for a candidate to win, they have to gather as many likes as possible on their Picture on our FB account, and supporters must also visit the DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE candidate’s article and may post the comment “I NOMINATE ”.
- Supporters can only like the FB pictures of their favorite candidate once, but they can nominate their candidate once (1) a day, therefore, they can visit the Davao Eagle Article every day and leave their “I NOMINATE ” comment every day.
- The top 5 female candidates and top 5 male candidates who will earn the most number of likes on their Facebook photos, and most number of nomination comments in the Davao Eagle Blog site will be the official winners for the month.
- In case of ties, the organizers will then post a picture of the tied candidates via Facebook. And each candidate must earn more likes for their pictures in the next 24 hours from the time the organizers had posted the ties. The candidate who will gather the most likes at the end of the 24hour extension period will be declared as the winner.
- This contest will run for 12 months, each month we will be selecting Five (5) Male and Five (5) Female winners, basing it on the number of likes in our Facebook page and the number of nomination comments on the article of a specific candidate in DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE Blog site.
- On the 12th month of the cycle, all winners from the last 11 months will compete to win the DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE’S TOP 100 FACES 2013.
- Winners of the DAVAO EAGLE ONLINE’s TOP 100 FACES CYCLE 1, will be the official article models of Davao Eagle Online Blog site, thus, will be ambassadors of beauty, camaraderie, goodwill and life success of Davao. Winners will also be a part of modeling events that Davao Eagle Online team will organize.
- Davao Eagle Online is a nonprofit organization, thus winners of the contest will be rewarded with unlimited exposure in our websites, articles and events that can be added in the candidates portfolio and use these experiences should they pursue careers in modeling. We guarantee that they will be popularly known in the entire Davao Region.
- Davao Eagle Online ensures the confidentiality of the candidates’ personal information. We also reserve the rights to disqualify or revoke a candidate’s winner status should the candidate fails to live up the expectation that this contest has stated above.
