It’s no secret that Davao Eagle Online has been conducting an extensive search for campus correspondents over the past few weeks: we’re still interested in new writers, and we’d love to hear from you (email us at emaildavaoeagle [at] gmail [dot] com).
It’s with pleasure that I’d like to announce the addition to our team. So, without further ado, everyone please welcome our newest campus correspondent: Emmanuel Joseph ‘EJ’ Sumatra from Ateneo de Davao University!
Taking up Bachelor of Science in Marketing minor in Psychology at Ateneo de Davao University, this top achiever and multi-awarded student- youth leader has proven his leadership through several youth organizations, whether school-related or not. His writing and editing skills made him and his colleagues more productive in voicing out the thoughts and idealism of his fellow youth. Being a member of Kabataan Party-List, EJ is able to help the youth address their issues and rights with the principles they believe in.
One of EJ’s principles in life is taken from the Letranites Code of Honor which is, “I say NO to what is wrong, even when those around me are saying YES. If it means I must stand alone to do what is right, then stand alone, I will.”
