The talented blind girl that has become viral on the internet for her rendition of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Joyce Jimenes was given her shining moment in Gandang Gabi Vice.
Joyce Jimenez is an 11-year-old girl and a Grade V student from Barangay Luzon, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental. In the video, posted on YouTube by George Doton, Joyce is reading the song in braille as she sings along with a piano. Joyce melts the hearts of everyone watching with her beautiful voice and tons of emotion behind each word.
The video has received a lot of attention on the web including Vice Ganda.
Dressed in her school uniform, Joyce performed her Cyrus’ song on tonight’s episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.
After the performance, Vice Ganda gave new shoes, clothes and a school scholarship to Jimenes.
