Kayaker and paddle sport enthusiasts, mark your calendars for an exciting celebration of paddling at the 4th Samal Summer Kayakfest to be held at the Sunset Beach Park in Babak, Samal Island slated on May 17-18, 2014.
It will feature a Basic Kayak Clinic followed by a competition for the Novice Men’s Singles, Novice Women’s Singles and Open Men’s Tandem categories.
Registration fee is P300.00 (three hundred pesos only) inclusive of an event T-shirt, resort entrance fee, kayak use, certificate, raffle stub and giveaway.
The event is co-organized by the ForePlay Promotions and Aqua Mate Sports and presented mainly by the Columbia Sportswear Company in coordination with Bugsay Dabaw, Mountaineering Federation of Southern Mindanao (MFSM) and Mountaineering Federation of the Phils. Inc. (MFPI). It is co-presented by the Dabaw Tourism Operators Association (Dabtoa) and Sunset Beach Park Resort.
The 4th Columbia-Samal Summer Kayakfest is for the benefit of the Sports Communicators Organization of the Philippines (SCOOP) Davao.
