One of the few places I have been to in Davao. Travel time was around an hour from SM Lanang. The place has beautiful landscapes; trees, shrubs, flowers; nicely decorated reception area; great customer service and a whole lot more.
The swimming pool wasn’t that big though and if I remembered correctly, it was 5 meters deep. Not bad for those who are not really into deep pools. I however was looking for more. I love deep and big pools. It would have been fine had it not been a low tide when we went there. When it is low tide, the water gets really shallow that swimming is literally impossible. The beach by the way is not the “fine” sand beach like Boracay or in Bohol. It was more of pebbles to me which I believe was also brought there rather than naturally occurring. But if you don’t like swimming or if swimming is impossible, then you can do other stuff like volleyball. They have a volleyball court but I suggest that you bring your own volley ball since I don’t think that they have one.
One of the things that I love about this resort is the food. They offer buffet meals with a variety of dishes and fruits. For those of you who love eating, you’re never going to regret it when you go to Secdea.
