It’s the first day of October and we hope you have a wonderful month ahead!
To kick off the month, we’d like to share a story about how Globe participated in National Teachers’ Month.
To celebrate National Teachers’ Month, Globe launched a campaign that recognizes the exemplary contributions of teachers to nation-building and development.
With the #WonderfulGlobeTeacher program, 21 teachers will be chosen to receive the “Globe ith the hashtag #GlobeWonderfulTeacher and a short description on why they consider their nominated teachers wonderful.
Additionally, by partnering with Teach for the Philippines—a for-purpose, non-stock, non-profit organization that works to provide Filipino children with an inclusive, relevant, and excellent education—Globe was able to engage its Vice President and Head of Prepaid Business Issa Cabreira as a guest teacher in Highway Hills Integrated School.
Cabreira taught English to Grade 3 students. Attached is a photo of her teaching them, with the following caption:
