Davao has held onto its title as the top billionaire city outside National Capital Region. The city has consistently been in the Top Ten highest revenue earning cities in the country in the list of ‘Billionaire Cities’ during the last seven years.
The recent data from the Department of Finance – Bureau of Local Government Finance (DOF-BLGF) revealed that Davao City’s estimated annual regular income (ARI) has amounted to P4,624,652,795 last year. It said Cebu ranks second with P3,203,379,789 followed by Cagayan de Oro with P2,046,204,978.
