Davao City’s economic performance in the recent years is always characterized by strong performance and a sustained influx of investments.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Mapua Institute of Technology announced it will be expanding to Davao City with the acquisition of a new 2.3-hectare landbank.
Yuchengcos’ House of Investments (HI) stated that Malayan Colleges Inc. – which operates under the Mapua brand – approved to purchase this property in Davao City for 425 million pesos.
“The completion of the purchase is subject to various conditions that need to be fulfilled, ” HI said.
Mapua Institute of Technology is the country’s largest engineering school with at least 15,000 students.
