Manila-based Schools Eyes Davao as New Site

In addition to De La Salle University and Mapua Institute of Technology, another two prominent Manila-based schools are planning to expand in Davao. This was disclosed by City Administrator Jesus Melchor V. Quitain during the Asia CEO Forum at Marco Polo Davao.

Quitain said Davao City is indeed growing.

The Lyceum of the Philippines will establish its university in a 3.5 hectare property near the airport while Letran is also planning to locate near the city’s airport.
