As the economy grows, people also want to know how the business sector affects and helps when it comes to such progress in the city. We want to know how things are going in our local businesses and somehow learn from them as employers and jobseekers.
Luckily, Department of Trade and Industry, (DTI) Philippines, in partnership with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Davao, is making this vision a reality as they team up in developing a system that will help in analyzing our city’s business climate. It will be anchored by DTI’s Negosyo Centers.
This program is expected to be an essential tool to process all the necessary data on job generation, business capitalization, investment, and other statistical values to determine economic status.
“Ultimate idea is to have a virtual assistance for every center for all who intends to seek help and access the data in Negosyo Centers will no longer need to be physically present in the facility because practically not everyone can go there as often as they want to, this virtual assistance will be of big help,” — DTI city director Edwin O. Banquerigo.
