Globe Business helps Philippine logistics companies maximize reach via digital marketing and big data

437

With the various challenges in the Philippine logistics industry’s shift to being fully digital, Globe Business, the information and communications technology (ICT) arm of Globe Telecom, recently held the Logistics Industry Roadshow, an event that aims to educate logistics companies through industry insights, and showcase how digital marketing can help maximize their reach and leverage on specific audience targeting which will lead to savings and cost-efficiency.

Over 25 marketing professionals from various logistics organizations such as Grab, LBC Express, Federal Express, ACM Landholdings and UBE Express attended the forum held at the Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Globe Business Sales Cluster Head Tisha Sadorra welcomes the attendees to the first of a series of industry roadshows.

Globe Business Cluster Sales Head Tisha Sadorra emphasized the importance of the forum to the logistics industry. “There’s so much to do with the logistics and transportation industry in the Philippines, and Globe Business looks at the long-term perspective of providing products and solutions that will best enable our clients and partners to adapt to the radical shift of technologies and innovations” Sadorra said. “We believe that through digital marketing and big data, we can help enterprises personalize their marketing campaigns and build stronger connections with their customers resulting to enhanced engagement and loyalty” she added.

Topics such as “Instant is the new normal” – discussed what is digital and mobile marketing, its importance, and components; “How to attract new leads and boost sales conversion” – which showcased the various offerings of AdSpark such as Mobile, Media, Content, and Analytics solutions; “How to generate a strong loyal customer base” –  which featured Globe Digital Ventures services that can improve workplace productivity and efficiency; and “Leveraging on big data to drive contextual offers” through Globe Telecom’s Enterprise Data Office, covered the vast opportunities companies can tap from big data.

“Through the forum, we were able to add value to our enterprise customers by sharing with them the trends in their industry, and how Globe Business can be their business advisor and partner as they drive competitive advantage through digital solutions,” said Globe Business Senior Vice President Peter Maquera.

Globe Telecom’s enterprise ICT arm has since led the way in initiating industry-specific forums to showcase its portfolio of ICT solutions that can help speed up the adoption of data-driven solutions across the country’s enterprise segment. Last year, Globe Business organized a similar forum for the healthcare industry.

Globe Business redefines how businesses work— which go beyond functions, numbers, and performance. The enterprise ICT arm of Globe Telecom helps turn businesses passion and purpose into reality through the right technology, infrastructure, and know-how to create meaningful experiences for its clients, their customers, and ultimately, the nation.
