    Legendary The Cranberries Lead Dies at 46

    The death of the Irish iconic lead vocal is treated as "unexplained" by police.

    Dolores O’Riordan the lead singer of Irish band The Cranberries passed away on Monday, January 15. As Filipinos, most of the Davaoeños had grown up while listening to The Cranberries music. This is the band behind the legendary rock song “Zombie” in protest against IRA bombing, and other famous alternative rock songs ‘Ode to my family’, ‘Linger’, ‘Dreams’ to name the few.

    In the past, O’riordan announced her bipolar disorder diagnosis in May 2017. The band already started their European tour dates but was canceled due to Dolores’s health issues.

    The death surprised the fans since she previously posted in her facebook account The Cranberries that she was already feeling good.

    After the death was announced many artists, and her fans around the globe had paid tribute to the alternative rock icons on their social media accounts.
