It’s another time of the year where we feel merry and bright and there’s no other way to feel it than visiting light parks and Christmas villages.
Well, there’s no need to go beyond borders as the Christmas Village at the Prayer Mountain has finally open its doors for everyone!
Located at the very foot of the Mt. Apo, the Christmas Village features three lighted mansions in blue, pink and yellow named as Millennial Houses that glitters every night. The Pink Mansion is also the setting for the nightly 3D Mapping Show, one of the first shows in the entire Mindanao.
It also feature a total of 610,000 Christmas and LED lights that set the entire area to glow. It also includes a dozen of lamp posts, light tunnels and hanging Christmas lights.
The village is also surrounded with 65 real-life giant Christmas trees including a 100-feet high Christmas Tree that landmarks the fun and excitements.
A varieties of Christmas booths inspired by the traditional European hamlets, fairy tale princesses and cute mascots are also present in the village.
This one of a kind Christmas Village also features a nightly band where visitors can enjoy some good music while enjoying the glittering village.
The village was made for the benefit of the Children’s Joy Foundation Inc (CIFI), a non-profit institution founded by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the Executive pastor of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, who owns and operates the Covenant Mountain and Paradise Garden of Eden Restored (CMPGOER).
The CIFI’s community and residential based programs are currently being implemented in many places in the Philippines and is currently expanding throughout the world.
The Christmas Village is located at the Prayer Mountain, Covenant Mountain and Paradise Garden of Eden Restored (CMPGOER), Brgy. Tamayong, Calinan District, Davao City.
