Jack’s Ridge atmosphere is festive and casual. There is a native restaurant, where every table overlooks the city, which slowly lightens up the as the sun sets. Lanes crisscross the hillside and there are benches where you can sit.

A life-size World War II Japanese soldier stands guard at the coffee shop entrance, where they serve American style oatmeal cookies and milk shakes, testament to the fact that time can heal all wounds. Old movies are projected on a large screen outside, when it gets dark enough.

Jack’s Ridge is located at BCG Drive, Shrine Hills, Matina, Davao City
