My friends and I had dinner at Tatang’s in Jacinto Extension beside Silverio and Hyperbola (near Central Bank). There’s another one at the ground floor of Abreeza Ayala Mall Annex.
Tatang’s offers original Pampanga Halo-halo and other Capampangan delicacies plus a fushion of selected Mindanao Halal dishes. There’s no wonder why they’ve come up with dishes like Biryani, Pancit, Luglug and Sisig.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve expressed my love for halo-halo, so trust me when I tell you, Tatang’s will easily make it in your personal top halo-halo list once you try it.
For PHP 105, I was able to enjoy their Special Halo-halo. It comes with red beans, sweet corn, macapuno, purple yam, sweet bananas and pastillas on finely shaved ice, carabao milk and topped with creamy pastillas, cornflakes and ube ice cream.
Aside from Special Halo-halo, Buco Halo-halo, the famous Durian Halo-halo and Tatang’s Pampanga Original Halo-halo, they also now offer Spicy Duterte Halo-halo for only PHP 125.
As Davao’s first Halal restaurant of its kind, Tatang’s has already set the bar high with their perfect infusion of Luzon and Mindanao specialties.
And oh! You can never go wrong with their Chicken Biryani. My favorite!
The best comfort food! Fried Chicken served with french fries is LOVE!
If you’re looking for a place that screams Halal, why not make Tatang’s your go-to? It is definitely worth a try.
