One of my favorite words is Innovation. It’s about introducing something new, something useful, it’s about ideas… and in technology, it makes our lives easy by getting better results with less work. It can be a product, service or an initiative, that when applied, is able to provide great impact.
The Benita and Catalino Yap Foundation or BCYF is established to put things on another level, with the vision of helping the Philippines and and rest of Asia, by coming up with innovative social solutions.
Anchored on Citizenship, Sustainability and Social Responsibility, with a model that focuses on the youth (Ages 13-39 years old) which compose half of the population in Southeast Asia. They believed that individuals can progress by volunteerism with a purpose and taking care of those who need care the most.
The BYCF Innovation Awards is a competition honoring innovations in 4 categories namely: Government Service, Tech Voc Education, SMEs and Agribusiness which made difference in the lives of the people. Ceremony will be held on February 22, 2017 and will be presented by iRemit Global Remittance, the largest non-bank Filipino-owned remittance company.
This coming December 8, 3:00 PM, there will be a Davao Leg Launching in partnership with JCI Davao Region, at World Palace in Ecoland.

- The Technical Vocational Schools and Associations of the Philippines
- University of the Asia and Pacific
